When such issues arise, we feel that it is important to deal with them as promptly as we can, and we therefore produce regular updates for all of our rulebooks. The Kill Team rules set shares a lot of DNA with its big brother Warhammer 40,000.Both are looking at combat in the 41st Millennium and share a lot of core systems and general principles, with differences emerging in scale. We’re working with Warhammer 40,0000 Roleplay luminary and original game designer Ross Watson to bring you streamlined character creation, whilst retaining the depth of the original system. When will the revised core book be released? We’re aiming to have a PDF available in September, with a physical release in November.
This episode covers the core rules, such as what is needed to play, how to measure distances, and the sequence of play. Have a friend that wants to learn to play Warhammer 40k 8th edition? It is not free, in fact, I think the digital version is way overpriced compared to getting the actual books. Did GW really indicate the book would be free digitally? If they did then GW has gotten even more evil, not less. They’ll say it’s not your time. They’ll say wait your turn.

Scouting Phase – this phase determines the success of each kill team’s planning, preparing and manoeuvring before battle. Each player secretly chooses a strategy and reveals it before the game.
Behind Enemy Lines – contains three examples of Open Play missions, as well as a range of ideas to spark your imagination for playing games set behind enemy lines.
4 Narrative Play Missions – Disrupt Supply Lines, Ambush, Feint, and Assassinate. Each includes advice on choosing kill teams, how to set up the battlefield, deployment, battle length, victory conditions, and attacker and defender tactics.
